I just came across a really good video by Tyler Ginter describing how to setup your Canon 7D or 5D for photography as well as video. I use pretty much all of these settings myself and really like the setup.

I use Smugmug because I want the freedom to backup videos, and at the time, they had a lot better options than Zenfolio.
